PREVIEW: Cheetahs head to Edinburgh in good spirits

Peter Schroeck wants Oxford Cheetahs to “push for the points” at Edinburgh Monarchs this evening (7.30pm).

Monarch Oxford Cheetahs face Edinburgh Monarchs at the Armadale Stadium in the Scottish capital city this evening.

Cheetahs head into the meeting in “good spirits” after Wednesday’s dramatic win against Glasgow Tigers at Oxford Stadium.

Scott Nicholls remains on the side lines with an injury and Ricky Wells coming in as guest rider this evening.

Schroeck said: “Edinburgh’s going to be an important match, but I think it’s a track where we can shine.

“We’ve got some good riders who have got a lot of experience around there. They all know what’s at stake, so we’re going to push for all the points.

“The team is in good spirits following Wednesday’s result and we want to take the determination and desire that got us that win into tonight’s meeting.”

The Cheetahs return to Oxford Stadium on Wednesday (June 29th) when we host Leicester Lions in what should be another entertaining meeting (Tapes up 7.30pm).
