PREVIEW: Chargers travel to Norfolk to face King’s Lynn Young Stars

DEFENDING champions Real Mini Company Oxford Chargers can add three points to their tally in the WSRA National League at King’s Lynn tonight (June 30) at 7.30pm.

Chargers won the corresponding meeting at the BetGoodwin Oxford Stadium on June 10 by 50-40, so there is an aggregate bonus point up for grabs tonight.

With Mason Watson having retired, 15-year-old Seth Norman, who normally rides for Leicester, will again replace him. In addition, Senna Summers is currently on the sidelines with a back injury and Jamie Halder will come in for him.

For Young Stars, Jack Kingston is taking some time out of speedway. Edinburgh’s Ben Whalley will guest in his place.

With the postponement of this Wednesday’s meeting against Poole – due to a clash with  England’s football World Cup knockout game against Congo – the next meeting at the BetGoodwin Oxford Stadium is next Wednesday (July 8) at 7.30pm, when the SD Timmo Car Sales Oxford Cheetahs take on Plymouth Gladiators in Cab Direct Championship action. Tickets will be on sale in due course on the Oxford Speedway website at: https://oxfordspeedway.club/tickets/
