New date for Oxford Cheetahs vs Redcar in the MAXiCab Knockout Cup semi-final – Sunday, September 28 at 5pm

SD TIMMO CAR SALES Oxford Cheetahs powered by County Plumbing Supplies will host Redcar Bears in the second leg of their MAXiCab Knockout Cup semi-final at the BetGoodwin Oxford Stadium this coming Sunday (September 28). Please note the start-time of 5pm.

The first leg is up at Redcar on Friday (September 26) and the aggregate winners will progress to the final to face either Poole or Glasgow.

The Oxford leg was previously rained off on Wednesday, September 10. Any tickets bought online for the original meeting will automatically transfer across to the new date. Supporters will have received an email that also offered a refund if they cannot make the new date.

There are two meetings at the BetGoodwin Oxford Stadium this week, since the the BetGoodwin Oxford Spires at home to Leicester Lions in a re-arranged ROWE Motor Oil Premiership clash on Thursday (September 25) at 7.30pm. Due to forthcoming exciting new developments in British Speedway, it will be the final-ever meeting for Spires, since Oxford Speedway will concentrate on the Cheetahs and Chargers in 2026.

Season Passes are NOT valid on Sunday, but ARE valid on Thursday. The passes did not include progression in any competition. Except for the re-staging of the meeting between Spires and Leicester, all 29 meetings (13 Spires, 11 Cheetahs and 5 Chargers) covered by the Ultimate Season Pass have taken place.
