PREVIEW: Spires complete away fixtures
BETGOODWIN Oxford Spires are involved in their final away fixture of the 2025 season at King’s Lynn in Norfolk tonight (August 18) at 7.30pm.
Spires again call up talented 17-year-old Mitch McDiarmid from the Oxford Cheetahs. He will guest at No 2 for Erik Riss, who is out with long-term illness. McDiarmid has averaged 5.25 in his previous four guest appearances for the Spires.
The two teams meet again at the BetGoodwin Oxford Stadium on Bank Holiday Monday (August 25) at 7.30pm. Tickets will be on sale in due course on the Oxford Speedway website at: https://oxfordspeedway.club/tickets/
UPDATE: Charles Wright aggravated a shoulder injury at Plymouth on Saturday evening. Spires will use rider replacement in his absnce.
