Plundered Cheetahs Head to Bandit Country
The SD Timmo Car Sales Oxford Cheetahs powered by County Plumbing Supplies must put the disappointment of Wednesday night at Poole behind them as they face a vital clash at Shielfield Park, the home of the Berwick Bandits, tonight (Saturday) with tapes up at 7pm.
Berwick sit just two points behind the Cheetahs who have dropped to fifth place just outside of the play off qualification places. Oxford start as favourites for the bonus point as they comfortably dispatched the Bandits 55-35 when the two sides met at Sandy Lane last month.
Oxford will utilise Rider Replacement for the injured Jordan Jenkins and have drafted in Edinburgh Monarch Jonatan Grahn to replace Francis Gusts who is reserve at the Latvian Grand Prix.
The new averages will see Jonas Knudsen joining Luke Killeen at reserve, a pairing which may well have a very big bearing on the outcome of the meeting.
The next action at Sandy Lane will be on Wednesday 06 August, when the Redcar Bears will visit with tapes up at 7.30pm, tickets are available now here.
Teams:
Berwick: Nick Morris, Sam Hagon, Jonas Jeppesen, Drew Kemp, Peter Kildemand, Dayle Wood, Jack Smith
Oxford: Sam Masters, Jordan Jenkins R/R, Jonatan Grahn, Mitch McDiarmid, Cameron Heeps, Luke Killeen, Jonas Knudsen
