Oxford’s Busy August Continues

Oxford Speedway are in the midst of one of their busiest months of the season and it is the Bet Goodwin Oxford Spires who take to track next when they make the short journey north to face the Leicester Lions on Monday August 11th, tapes up at 7.30pm.

Spires will be missing two riders due to illness, Erik Riss and Viktor Palovaara. Rider Replacement will operate for Riss, whilst the Cheetahs young Aussie Mitch McDiarmid will once again take the place of Palovaara.

The Leicester Lions are in a rich vein of form, recently being crowned Premier League Knockout Cup winners and cementing their place in the Premiership Play Off’s by sitting in third place.

The Spires will return to Sandy Lane on Thursday evening, when they take on fourth placed Sheffield Tigers. Tickets are available now here.
