PREVIEW: Oxford at The Double

The SD Timmo Car Sales Oxford Cheetahs powered by County Plumbing Supplies and the Real Mini Company Oxford Chargers powered by AW Mobbs face a long trip to the North East coast as they take part in a double header at Scunthorpe tonight (Friday).

The Cheetahs are up first, and once again Team Manager Peter Schroeck is unable to track his full one to seven. Jordan Jenkins, who took a nasty injury on Wednesday night, is unable to take his place and Antti Voulas has been drafted in as a guest.

Cameron Heeps will ride and the duo of Jonas Knudsen and Francis Gusts will also make their return.

Following two home defeats, the Cheetahs will be keen to get back to winning ways.

The Chargers will ride against the Steelers in the WSRA National Development League after the CabDirect Championship match is completed. The Chargers were already missing Jody Scott who is on duty for his Championship club Redcar. Max James will ride in his place.

There was a further blow when Darryl Ritchings fell at Poole on Wednesday night, ruling him out. With no guests available, Rider Replacement will operate for him.

The Chargers are unbeaten this season and will need to be at their best to maintain their run.
