Riss Looking Forward to an In’Spired’ Year

2024 German Individual Speedway Champion Erik Riss is the fourth rider to sign an Oxford Spires contract for 2025 and will join Rohan Tungate, Charles Wright and Luke Killeen when the tapes rise next March on the 2025 ROWE Motor Oil Premiership season.

Riss was late to the party in 2024, coming in part way through the season, and is confident that lining up from day one will help him
“I really want to step it up and be consistent all the way through in 2025

“I’m very excited to be back at Oxford next year and thank Peter (Schroeck) and Jamie (Courtney) for putting their trust in me” he continued.

When asked about how the team was shaping up, Riss was equally confident
“I really enjoyed my time at Oxford in 2024 and we had a great team. We will also have a great team next year and I am already excited to be riding at Sandy Lane again” he concluded.

Team Manager Peter Schroeck, was clear that Riss is a pivotal member of the team
“He’s a top rider and in the right environment we get the most out of him, as he showed last year

He is also keen to see him really show his full potential in 2025
“Once Erik realises how good he is, he will be even better. We are very lucky to have him back on board and I am obviously delighted”.
