Tickets on sale for Saturday’s play-off final – and also the British Under-19 Final on Sunday

MONARCH Oxford Cheetahs have reached the Grand Final of the Cab Direct Championship play-offs – where they will face old rivals Poole Pirates.

The first leg of the final will take place at Oxford Stadium on Saturday, October 5th at 7.30pm.

Cheetahs are seeking to become the first senior team to win a league title since 2001, when Cheetahs beat Pirates into second place in the Elite League.

It will be the first Saturday speedway meeting at Oxford Stadium in 56 years. The last occasion was on Saturday, July 13th, 1968, when Oxford Cheetahs defeated Newport Wasps by 54-24 in a British League match. The meeting was moved to a Saturday to avoid clashing with the 1968 British Final at Wimbledon.

To complete a weekend feast of action, Oxford Speedway will also stage the British Under-19 Final on Sunday, October 6 at 3pm.

Tickets are already on sale for both meetings at https://oxfordspeedway.club/tickets/

For the play-off final, admission is available at the early bird price of £20 for all adults, which increases to £22 on Race Day. A reminder that Oxford Speedway is online ticket sales only – tickets remain on sale on the website until the start-time of the meeting. Please note any tickets purchased for the original rained off date have transferred to the new date.

Season Passes are NOT valid on Wednesday or for the remainder of the season. The passes did not include progression in any competition and all 28 meetings (12 Spires, 11 Cheetahs and 5 Chargers) covered by the Ultimate Pass have all taken place.
