Monarch Oxford Cheetahs 53 – 36 Redcar Agila Bears

The Monarch Oxford Cheetahs have made the perfect start to the Cab Direct Championship with a solid victory against the Redcar Bears at Sandy Lane.

The Cheetahs started with a five – one however the Bears had pulled ahead by heat four and led 13-11. The dream pairing of Sam Masters and Cameron Heeps scored their second maximum 5-1 of the night in heat six and they never looked back.

It was a solid all round performance throughout the team who covered well for the injured Henry Atkins.
