RESULT! Kent Royals 39 WSRA Chargers 51

The World Speedway Riders’ Association Oxford Chargers powered by SD Timmo recorded their seventh win on the bounce on Sunday afternoon when beating Kent Royals 39-51 at Iwade Stadium.

Victory moved Chargers to within a point of table topping Leicester Lion Cubs and strengthened Peter Schroeck’s side’s position inside the third tier’s play-off frame.

Henry Atkins top scored for Chargers with 14 points while there were heat wins for Jordan Jenkins, Jacob Clouting, Ryan Kinsley and Luke Killeen. Jody Scott and Jason Garrad were among the points too, scoring 5+1 and 2+1 respectively.

Chargers’ National League campaign resumes on Wednesday night when Berwick Bullets visit in the National League at Oxford Stadium. Tapes-up is at 7.30pm and tickets are on sale now!
