Chargers postponed due to England football World Cup clash

REAL MINI COMPANY Oxford Chargers’ top of the table clash with Edinburgh Monarchs Academy at the BetGoodwin Oxford Stadium has been postponed to a date later in the season.

The meeting was due to take place on Wednesday evening (July 15) but that would have led to a direct clash with England’s football World Cup semi-final clash with Argentina.

The club hope everyone can see that this is a sensible business decision and also wish England the best of luck, as they seek to reach the World Cup final for the first time in 60 years since 1966.

The Oxford management thank Edinburgh for their co-operation, and will work with the Edinburgh management to find a suitable re-staging date.
