PREVIEW: Chargers in key clash at Leicester

DEFENDING champions Real Mini Company Oxford Chargers face a tough trip to Leicester in the WSRA National League this afternoon (Sunday, 3pm).

Between them, Oxford (2023 and 2025) and Leicester (2022 and 2024) have won the National League for the last four seasons and both clubs have a reputation for developing young riders. Chargers won the corresponding meeting last season in a Super Heat in a result that went a long way to deciding the championship battle.

Chargers are currently in the second place in the NL table, after double victory over King’s Lynn Young Stars in their last two meetings.

With the publication of a new set of averages, impressive 16-year-old Harry Fletcher moves up from reserve to the No 3 spot.

Chargers make two changes to their regular line-up. Jamie Halder will again cover for the injured Senna Summers. Chargers must replace the retired Mason Watson for with an unattached rider and bring in Lee Harrison.
