Cheetahs Welcome THREE New Riders to Complete the 2025 Team
The Oxford Cheetahs have been completed with the signing of THREE new riders for the 2025 campaign.
Leading the trio is Dan Gilkes, who rode so well as a guest for the injured Jordan Jenkins at the back end of the 2024 campaign.
“A great guy, with a very professional approach” enthused Team Manager Peter Schroeck
“He has done a brilliant job for us in the past, and I don’t think we have seen the best of him yet!” he concluded.
Dan Gilkes rode for Redcar in the Championship in 2023 and was delighted to have the chance to ride at Oxford in 2025
“I was blown away by how the club is run when I guested last year
“Everyone just gets stick in and is available to help if you need anything
Fan power was another draw
“The fans at Oxford are fantastic, I have always been so warmly received when riding for or against Oxford and I honestly can’t wait” he concluded
Completing the Cheetahs will be Dane Jonas Knudsen and Australian youngster Mitch McDiarmed.
Peter Schroeck is delighted with the last of the Cheetahs signings
“Jonas is another young up and coming rider who has shown great form at times and at just 16 years old, Mitch is a young man very much in demand
Schroeck believes Oxford is ideal for him
“I am sure he will settle in really quickly with Sam, Cameron & Luke to support him”
