Cameron Heeps is Fourth Returning Oxford Cheetah in 2025

Oxford Speedway can confirm that Cameron Heeps becomes the fourth Cheetah to return to the side in 2025 as team building continues with some pace.

Heeps will be the only rider to have started all four seasons for the club since their reopening in 2022.

Team Manager Peter Schroeck was clear that he is a vital part of the Cheetahs set-up
“Very pleased for Cameron to be back in the team

“He will be providing some vital back up for Sam in those all important heats”

As revealed by Scott Nicholls last week, he has had an operation to repair his damaged shoulder and that it is unclear exactly when he will be able to return to the saddle

“Scott is a huge part of Oxford’s story, and we cannot wait for him to get into a Cheetahs race suit again” commented Schroeck

“We have built a team that can stand on its own two feet in 2025 rather than be reliant on guests, as the Oxford fans deserve a full team from day one” he concluded.

The remaining three members of the Cheetahs team will be announced on Tuesday 03 December.
