PREVIEW: Spires Aim to Fight Back
The OXS Oxford Spires take to the track for the second time this week, when they travel to Sheffield where they take on the Tigers in ROWE Motor Oil Premiership action tonight (Thursday).
Oxford are at full strength for the clash, whilst the Sheffield Tigers are still without their talisman Tai Woffinden following his nasty accident at the GP of Poland earlier this month.
The Sheffield side will use Rider Replacement to cover his rides, leaving Team Manager Pete Schroeck in no doubt as to the task in hand
“The boys enjoy it up their normally and are due a decent meeting but we will have to be at our best to make anything happen”
The Spires have a slim six point lead to take with them and will need to ensure they are firing from heat one to bring home some points.
Teams:
SHEFFIELD: Jack Holder, Tai Woffinden R/R, Josh Pickering, Kyle Howarth, Chris Holder, Jason Edwards, Dan Gilkes.
OXFORD: Rohan Tungate, Erik Riss, Maciej Janowski, Charles Wright, Chris Harris, Ashton Boughen, Luke Killeen.
