RESULT: Monarch Oxford Cheetahs 45 – 45 Poole Wessex Marine Pirates

Oxford win Super-Heat 7 – 2 and claim two points on the night.

The Monarch Oxford Cheetahs were pushed all the way in a thrilling Cab Direct Championship clash where crucial points were dropped by both sides in a typically feisty derby meeting at Sandy Lane.

The Cheetahs led up until heat eight, then the Pirates took the lead in heat eleven. A maximum heat win in thirteen levelled the scores and two shared heats followed after a nasty tumble in heat fourteen for Cameron Heeps.

There were no mistakes in the super-heat with Sam Masters and Scott Nicholls team riding to perfection claiming the two lague points and moving the Cheetahs to third in the Cab Direct Championship Table.
