RESULT: OXS Oxford Spires 46 – 44 Curtis Sport Birmingham Brummies

The OXS Oxford Spires were made to work overtime to claim the all important three ROWE Motor Oil league points at Sandy Lane.

The Brummies led from heat one until a maximum in heat ten saw the Spires ahead for the first time.

The Brummies hit back and were two points up before a controversial heat fifteen which saw Tom Brennan excluded for bringing down Erik Riss. A maximum in the rerun saw Oxford win by the smallest margin.
