PREVIEW: Spires Must Win Roadtrip
The OXS Oxford Spires travel to Leicester on Monday evening for a ROWE Motor Oil Premiership clash which could end their hopes of Play Off Qualification.
Oxford currently occupy the fifth spot in the league and must win all of their remaining fixtures to have a mathematical chance of reaching the Premiership Play Offs in their inaugural season.
Team Manager, Peter Schroeck, is clear on the task in hand
“We have to win the match, it is going to be a tough one as Leicester are in form at the moment
Whilst momentum is important, Pete is keeping his team in the right headspace
“With the right attitude we might just surprise everybody”
Oxford will be without Rohan Tungate who took a spill over the weekend. Oxford will operate Rider Replacement
“We have team that can definitely step up” concluded Schroeck.
The fixture starts another busy week for the Oxford teams with the Cheetahs at home to Glasgow on Wednesday, the Spires are then away at Kings Lynn on Thursday. The Cheetahs travel to Glasgow on Friday before a crunch National Development League fixture for the Oxford Chargers at home to Leicester on Sunday.
