𝗟𝘂𝗸𝗲 𝗞𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗝𝗼𝗶𝗻𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗲𝘀

Luke Killeen will join the OXS Oxford Spires with immediate effect, replacing Drew Kemp.

At 19 years old, Killeen has secured his first team spot in the ROWE Motor Oil Premiership following his development in the second and third tiers with Oxford.

His advancement has now earned him a reserve position in the top tier of British Speedway, with his debut set for Monday when the Spires compete against Belle Vue at the National Speedway Stadium.

Oxford Promoter Jamie Courtney said
“Luke is a big part of the club, and he gives 100% every time! He will be the first rider in history to ride for all three teams.”

Team Manager Peter Schroeck added
“We are known to make brave and bold decisions, and as far as we are concerned, this is another positive move to bring Luke into our ROWE Motor Oil Premiership side to develop and secure our future at Oxford Speedway!

“We are very proud to give this opportunity to Luke, who is without any doubt a great talent. Being alongside Ashton, it will be very exciting to follow their progress.

“Our one to five is a match against anyone in this league, and having Ashton and Luke at reserve, we have two of the most promising young talents on board!”
