RESULT: Leicester Lions 54 – 36 OXS Oxford Spires

The OXS Oxford Spires were outgated by the Leicester Lions in the ROWE Motor Oil Premiership tonight on a track where passing was at a premium.

The Lions took the lead in the very first heat and there was no way back for the Spires who put up a sterling fight but were unable to get on terms with the homeside and will make gaining the bonus point a very difficult task when the Lions visit Sandy Lane next Monday in the rearranged fixture from the May Day Bank Holiday.
