Australian Championships: Double figure haul for Masters, while Tungate grabs third in Round Four!

Oxford Spires’ Rohan Tungate is one of four riders who can still mathematically win the Australian Championship following Round Four of the series in Mildura today.

The 33-year-old former champ ended Round Four with 13 points after finishing third in the meeting’s Grand Final which was won by Brady Kurtz.

The result means championship leader Max Fricke, Tungate plus Jack Holder and Jaimon Lidsey enter Saturday’s finale still in with a mathematical chance of winning the top prize.

Sam Masters was also among the points in Mildura, scoring 10 points from five rides. It means the Cheetahs number one is tied in seventh on 34 points overall with Josh Pickering.
