END OF SEASON PARTY: Tickets on sale!

Oxford Speedway is pleased to confirm details of the club’s end-of-season party to celebrate a bumper 2023 campaign for the Monarch Cheetahs and WSRA Chargers powered by SD Timmo.

Held at the Oxford Belfry Spa and Hotel on Friday, November 10 (7pm), the event will feature a two-course meal, awards presentation, free prize draw and a disco to round the night off.

Cheetahs have experienced a memorable Championship campaign this season, falling just short of qualifying for the Grand Final in a tense Play-Off Group B finale against Glasgow Tigers.

Chargers meanwhile still have the National League to race for which will be decided by a two-legged Grand Final against Leicester Lion Cubs.

Our family-friendly end-of-season celebration will celebrate all of the above, and Promoter Jamie Courtney hopes to round-off the year in style.

“It has been a great year for both teams,” said Jamie. “Thank you to everyone who has supported us this season, we hope you have enjoyed the action as much as we have.

“Personally, I am extremely proud of both teams’ achievements this campaign. The Cheetahs had a remarkable year winning all home league fixtures and we’re still not done yet with the Chargers.

“The end of season party is a great way to round off the year and congratulate the riders and thank everyone who has played an important role in the second campaign of our regeneration.

“We hope to see as many of you there as possible for one last celebration before we turn in for the winter.”
