SRBF collection tonight!
OXFORD SPEEDWAY holds its annual collection for the Speedway Riders’ Benevolent Fund tonight.
Just a reminder that the SRBF helps both current riders and former riders who suffered a life-changing injury while competing in British Speedway. Former Oxford Cheetahs Lawrence Hare and Pip Lamb are amongst the wheelchair-bound riders who benefit from the Ben Fund every year.
Fifteen current riders have been helped by the SRBF so far this season, including Oxford Charger Nathan Stoneman. Nathan has been out for practically the whole season, after suffering a grade 3 acromioclavicular joint injury in an accident at Edinburgh, which means that the ligament at the end of his collarbone was completely torn and separated. Another current beneficiary will be Luke Killeen.
Please give as generously as you can – thank you!
